# `POST /v1/workspace/user/discard` — Discard changes

Put the marked files at or under `paths` (none: every marked file) back as published at the base: a file never published goes, for good. Whoever made the changes, the user or the agent. Nothing is published until Save; the agent sees it at once. 409 workspace_busy while Git works in the repository (the agent's, or a sync): nothing changed, try again. The user's own.
